How to BeastLink Transform Guide

BeastLink is both the game title and the fantasy verb. To BeastLink is to establish the connection with a dormant Kaiju and seize a colossal body mid-conflict. This guide focuses on decision-making around the transform: when to Link, what to do in the first thirty seconds after, and how to avoid feeding the lobby.

Prerequisites

You need Serum progress and a moment where the map will not instantly delete you. If you are still unclear on acquisition, stop and finish How to Get Serum. If the overall loop is fuzzy, revisit How to Play BeastLink. Linking is a conversion step, not a separate mini-game.

The risk-reward fantasy

Official copy stresses that the stronger your Link grows, the more power you command — and the more it threatens to consume you. Even before final numbers are public, play as if transformation raises your threat priority. Every human and vehicle on the map will re-orient toward the new silhouette. That is the point. Plan for attention.

  1. Confirm exit geometry still exists after recent collapses. 2) Call a target: rival Beast, objective cluster, or siege line. 3) Glance at teammate states — two allies already mid-respawn means your spike may be lonely. 4) Know which Beast identity you are about to pilot; skim Horned Lizard, Bull Shark, Vampire Bat, or Mandrill if needed.

First thirty seconds after Linking

Establish presence without overcommitting into layered anti-Beast fire. Use your kit opener — beam, dive, scream, rush — to create space, then decide whether you are deleting a structure for pathing (see Destruction Strategy) or hunting a priority target. New Beasts often die because they celebrate the cutscene instead of reading the skyline.

Team follow-up wins games

A solo Beast is strong. A Beast with vehicle support and human finishers is oppressive. Ping your intended lane. Ask vehicles to cut escapes. Let humans clean objectives while you threaten. Mode guides for Battle Arena and Convergence show how follow-up differs when the enemy team can field multiple Beasts at once.

Dying as a Beast is not the end

Expect to return to the human layer and climb again. Mentally budget a second farm. The players who tilt after one lost kaiju life are the ones who fall behind on the next Serum cycle. Keep composure, reset route, and use knowledge of where the fight destroyed cover.

Hold the transform if the match is ten seconds from an objective resolution you can still affect as a vehicle gunner, or if three enemy Beasts are already stacked on your exact tile. Holding is not cowardice when the alternative is donating momentum. The Beginner Path Picker can reinforce patience habits before launch week.

Practice drills

In safer playlists or offline options, practice Link → immediate structure collapse → rotate → re-engage. Then practice Link → disengage via camouflage or mobility (Beast-dependent) → re-enter from a new angle. Those two drills cover 80% of early Beast survivability. Cross-check your preferred matchups in the Beast Tier List.

After this guide, open Beast Controls and Beast Comparison. For cinematic context of the fantasy, the embedded beta playthrough above shows the human-to-kaiju fantasy in motion — use it as visualisation, not as a substitute for the checklist.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers grounded in what BeastLink players ask most.

How do you BeastLink?

Gather enough Serum through combat and scavenging, then trigger the Link with a dormant Beast when you have a viable fight window.
