BeastLink Mandrill Guide

Mandrill is motion as a weapon. Public previews describe speed, disorientation tools, bone-forward attacks, and rage-scream style buffs. If Horned Lizard is a siege engine, Mandrill is a riot.

Playstyle identity

Enter sideways. Create confusion, delete a key target, leave before the entire lobby hard-focuses you. Mandrill rewards players who already understand map rhythm and hate standing still inside beam contests.

Strengths and failure modes

Strength: punishing disorganised teams. Failure mode: choreographing your own death by overstaying after the scream window. Use camouflage-of-motion — broken sightlines via destruction — instead of pure ego.

Link behind a row of buildings you can shatter for a sudden angle. Disrupt, mark, extract. In Convergence, Mandrill shines when objectives require rapid multi-point pressure rather than a single door tank.

Controls reminder

Beast inputs are their own layer. Drill them in Beast Controls before you blame the kit. Humans and vehicles still decide whether your transform is supported — see Human Controls and Vehicle Controls.

Terrain synergy

Every Beast is secretly a demolition class. Pair your kit with SuperDestruction Guide and Destruction Strategy. Cities that still look pristine usually mean your team is underusing power.

Mode tips

In Convergence, play the encounter script. In Battle Arena, assume you are the priority target the moment you Link. Escape tools and peels matter as much as highlight damage.
